Welcome to Studio 8!

A boutique studio space in the heart of Lancaster, Studio 8 Salon and Spa has grown from a small salon into one of Lancaster's most trusted names in beauty and wellness.

Our History

In 2013, Kate joined Jane at Artistic and Creative Hair Design with Anne Groff. Here, they began to grow their clientele, some of whom are still with us! After spending 3 years here, they had outgrown the space and were ready for their next adventure! They then moved to Walnut Street and Studio 8 was born.

Walnut Street was a cute little space for Kate and Jane to continue expanding. After about 3 years, they outgrew the space and began looking for a new salon to continue growing at!

Welcome Studio 8 to North Lime Street!

In 2019, Jane and Kate found 30 North Lime Street. After touring, they fell in love and signed the lease later that year. They moved in January 2020.

After moving in, they began remodeling immediately! Focusing on the curb appeal first, they had the canopy and sign installed. And of course, the signature feature of Studio 8, our flower box! With many talented florists making our floral dreams come to life, 2024 was the first year of Kate designing it herself!

Jane and Kate have made the space their own over the years. Always growing and evolving, you never know what you are going to find each time you enter the salon!

From humble beginnings to a thriving salon and spa, Studio 8's history is a testament to hard work, vision, and the support of a loyal community. As we continue to grow and evolve, we're grateful for every guest who has been part of our story, and we look forward to many more beautiful chapters ahead!
